Self-employed taxi drivers across the UK, who have faced a massive drop off in demand due to coronavirus, are calling for a package of support measures for the duration of the emergency.

The trade union Unite has written to the Department for Transport asking for immediate support as many drivers have seen nearly or all of their income disappear in the last week.
