The United Nations has postponed the 11-day climate change conference (COP26) that was due to be held in Glasgow in November. The event will be rescheduled for dates in 2021, with Glasgow remaining host city. UN climate change executive secretary Patricia Espinosa said: “Covid-19 is the most urgent threat facing humanity today, but we cannot forget that climate change is the biggest threat facing humanity over the long-term.”
