The Covid-19 pandemic has caused the postponement of the fourth and final weekend of the Climate Assembly UK, the citizens’ assembly set up by the House of Commons select committees to consider how the UK meets its net zero greenhouse gas missions commitment. “The discussions and votes due to take place on weekend four will still take place at a later date to conclude the work of the assembly,” said the organisers.
