Buses that normally take Harry Potter fans to a film studio tour in Watford are now being used as free transport for NHS staff.
The buses have been provided by film company Warner Bros. and coach company Golden Tours after the Making of Harry Potter attraction at Leavesden Studios went into lockdown.
The buses, decorated with scenes from Harry Potter films, are staff between three West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust sites: Watford General, St Albans City and Hemel Hempstead hospitals between about 6am and 10.30pm.
Social distancing rules apply on board.
Paul da Gama, from the West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “Our workforce has been depleted due to sickness or self-isolation and so it's really important that those staff who are well, but have transport issues, can come back.”
