The government has signalled that walking, cycling and even electric-scooters will play key roles as part of an integrated transport network as current lockdown rules are eased. However, with most cars and motorcycles having been mothballed since late March, road safety charity IAM RoadSmart believes refreshing driver and rider behaviour and skills will be essential as traffic returns to the road.
