An outer ring road forms a key part of a new garden town masterplan for Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire.
The plan envisages the construction of 16,000 new homes by 2033, mostly on greenfield sites on the edge of the town, all the way from the northeast of the town to the southwest in a clockwise direction, and also northwest of the town.
The London to West Midlands high-speed railway will form the western boundary for the expanded town.
