Didcot garden town wins £218m for roads

Homes England this week confirmed the award of a £218m Housing Infrastructure Fund grant to Oxfordshire County Council to improve roads around Didcot, which has been designated a garden town.

The funding will meet the lion’s share of a £234m programme:

widening the A4130 from A34 Milton Interchange towards Didcot from single to dual carriageway;

a new ‘Science Bridge’ over the A4130, Great Western Main Line railway and Milton Road into the former Didcot A Power...
