Barker is DfT’s local transport deputy

Caroline Barker has been appointed the DfT’s deputy director for buses, taxis and local transport. She was deputy director, programme, legal and communications, airports and infrastructure. Barker joined the DfT in May 2018 from Highways England, where she was head of the DfT client team.
