Means-test for Bath’s new CAZ exemption

Bath & North East Somerset Council (B&NES) plans to give some vehicle owners a two-year exemption from the Bath clean air zone (CAZ) restrictions because of the economic impact of Covid-19. 

The Class C CAZ will cover central Bath (LTT 24 Jan). Non-compliant buses, coaches and lorries will pay £100 a day and light goods vehicles, taxis and private hire vehicles £9 a day.
