Active travel charity Sustrans has offered Glasgow City Council £21.3m of Scottish Government funding to fully fund a programme of street improvements.
The ‘Avenues Plus’ project will complement Glasgow’s existing £115m Avenues programme in Glasgow city centre giving active travel more space on streets. The existing programme covers 17 streets and has been sub-divided for delivery into four blocks, namely A, B, C and D.
