The Cambridgshire and Peterborough Combined Authority has selected the Huntingdonshire area of Cambridgeshire as the setting for a trial of demand responsive bus services.
Huntingdonshire has been chosen because it has a number of minimum cost contract tendered services for which the public sector bears the revenue risk. They are currently procured by Cambridgeshire County Council but from next April will be the combined authority’s responsibility.
