The UK Government will provide up to £830m from the Future High Streets Fund to support areas to recover from the pandemic.

The money will be invested in 72 areas across England, Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick announced on 26 December 2020.

The funding will enable the delivery of regeneration plans, drawn up by places, and fund new local projects such as improvements to transport infrastructure, new homes and the transformation of underused spaces.
