Sir Keith Bright has died at the age of 89. Keith served as chairman of the London Transport Executive from 1982 to 1984 and of London Regional Transport from 1984 to 1988, and oversaw initiatives such as the launch of the travelcard, automatic ticket machines and the privatisation of London buses.
