Moray Council in northern Scotland is seeking £4m from the Scottish Government for an electric demand responsive bus service.
The ‘bus revolution’ project is part of the Moray Growth Deal struck between the council and the Scottish and UK governments. Heads of terms were signed last August.
The project proposes a fleet of vehicles to provide an on-demand service between 04.00 and 00.00 Mondays to Saturdays and 07.00-22.00 on Sundays.
