Transport for London wants to further expand the area covered by the public bike hire scheme, Santander Cycles.
A study is exploring areas with high demand potential. “The authority to implement the expansion will be requested following the completion of the feasibility study and confirmation of Government funding,” says TfL.
Meanwhile, TfL has announced that the 100 millionth journey was made on a Santander Cycle on 6 March.
