Relief road is only way to solve M4 jams, say Tories

A Conservative Government in Wales would revive the plan for an M4 Relief Road at Newport.

The Conservative’s manifesto commits to the road as well as improvements to the A55 in north Wales and the A40 in west Wales. “As key routes to the rest of the United Kingdom, we would designate them as ‘Union Highways’ to ensure their priority in rebuilding our economy,” say the Tories.
