Motorists have been parking in space beneath a flyover in Manchester city centre. The fly-parking is taking place between two dual-carriageways under the Mancunian Way.
It is believed motorists first parked in the spot towards the end of 2020. As more people returned to the roads coronavirus restrictions eased, the problem has got worse.
The spot was created during improvement works on the Princess Road and Medlock Street roundabout in 2019 and is intended for highways maintenance staff.
