Don’t ditch the face coverings, says bus boss

The wearing of face coverings on passenger transport in England is now a matter of personal discretion unless conditions of carriage are amended by the service operator

 

South of England operators Brighton & Hove and Metrobus is asking passengers to keep wearing face coverings on its buses after 19 July, if they can. 

The UK Government is expected to confirm that public transport passengers, shoppers and users of other indoor facilities in England from Monday are no longer legally required to wear a face covering but is still saying it expects them to be worn.
