A new smartphone app that integrates rail, ferry and bus connections, bikes, e-scooters and car rental services across the Solent region is to be launched by the end of this year.

The £2.4m Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) scheme is being launched by Solent Transport, which has appointed Trafi, Unicard and the Behavioural Insights Team to deliver the app. It will consist of a journey planner, smart ticketing, payment system and will experiment with incentives to encourage travellers to use...
