The Welsh Government has admitted it does not know how it will achieve its targeted reduction in road traffic mileage.

In a candid response to a Senedd question, deputy climate change minister Lee Waters said: “Our net zero plan for Wales includes an annual reduction in miles driven of 10% over the five-year period, which is going to be a very challenging target to meet. We put that in there knowing it is a stretch target.
