Climate change and the need to decarbonise transport are never far away from headlines in the newspapers or trade press; and dominate my Twitter and LinkedIn feeds.

I was adamant that the recent Modelling World conference in early October would include a plenary session on the key technical challenges of modelling carbon interventions, and it resulted in an animated discussion with plenty of food for thought. What is clear to me is that too little attention has been paid to the evidence...
