Birmingham New Bond Street project to go ahead

Birmingham City Council’s planning committee has given a green light for up to 762 apartments to be built on land around the forthcoming HS2 station.

New Bond Street, Bordesley, will be recreated into a sustainable and inclusive canalside community, focused on the Grand Union canal.

The site will have parking space for 138 vehicles and 800 cycles.
