Pembrokeshire Council to buy local bus and coach operator

Pembrokeshire County Council will buy the assets of a local bus and coach company, which intends to cease operating, if due diligence checks reveal no significant obstacles. The aim is to complete the purchase as soon as possible, and hopefully by the summer.

The rural county has already lost five bus operators in seven years. The council began to operate its own public bus services in April 2017. In 2018 it added two more, telling LTT that the remaining operators had not even been interested...
