Emergency funding for bus operators in Scotland and Wales is extended

Bus operators in Scotland and Wales have been spared uncertainty continuing in England of emergency support after next month, with both nations’ governments providing funding. However, new Welsh services by bus operator Clayton Jones will not be eligible.

The Welsh Government’s Bus Emergency Scheme 2 (BES2) was launched in April 2021 with funding until July 2022.
