PACTS calls for regulations before e-scooters are legalised

The Government should adopt regulations to tackle dangerous and illegal use of electric scooters, says a new report from PACTS (Parliamentary advisory council for transport safety). A thorough public consultation and further research should also be carried out before making any decision on the legalisation of e-scooters, it states.
