Stagecoach Manchester has appointed Alan French as its new head of operations. He will be responsible for 1,800 drivers and 700 buses covering 23.9 million miles a year across the region. French started his career as a bus driver with Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire in 2005. He quickly progressed into roles in training and Operations Management before being promoted to performance, development and training manager.
