Hackney Council has appointed Zest to provide and operate electric vehicle chargers across the east London borough.
The chargers will be rolled out in two tranches. The first is for 2,500 fast and slow chargers. A further contract will see up to 150 rapid chargers across the borough, which fully charge EVs in under an hour. This will take the total number of charging points in Hackney to 3,000 by 2026.
