A further round of funding for zero emission buses (ZEBs) has been announced by the Government, with up to £129m being offered to transport authorities in England.
The first round of funding paid for 1,300 new zero emission buses, which the Government says has enabled it to meet its initial target of funding 4,000 ZEBs, as promised by former prime minister Boris Johnson in February 2020, as part of the National Bus Strategy for England.
