Interactive map reveals London’s most dangerous junctions

A new interactive map of the most dangerous junctions across London has been launched by the London Cycling Campaign. This shows  how and where people are being hurt on London’s roads.

The map covers all of London, and can be filtered by borough to find the most dangerous junctions for both people walking and cycling in your area.

LCC said its map algorithm uses the latest five years of emergency services response data to collisions (2018-2022) to ‘cluster’ collisions by location.

“By identifying these junction systems, weighting data according to both collision severity and recency, and factoring in multi-victim collisions, we have identified the junctions that most need fixing across every London borough,” said the charity.

The most dangerous cluster of junctions for cycling  is on Upper Tooting Road while the most dangerous junction is the Southall High Street & Avenue Road junction, according to LCC's research.
