Business case for HS2 needs months of cost and benefits reworking

The business case for HS2 will be updated next year but requires months of work because so much of the previous modelling of costs and benefits has been altered by the cancellation of the high speed line north of Lichfield, the House of Commons Transport Committee was informed on 15 November.
