UK now has 50,000 public chargepoints

Department for Transport says key milestone to EV transition has been passed

The DfT states that the UK remains on track to reaching 300,000 public chargepoints by 2030

 

Over 50,000 public chargepoints have been installed across the country, the Department for Transport has announced.

Data supplied to the department by EV chargepoint mapping service Zapmap shows there are 52,602 public chargepoints, 44% more than this time last year.

The DfT states that the UK remains on track to reaching 300,000 public chargepoints by 2030.
