SYSTRA’s Davison scoops awards

Design Co-ordinator at SYSTRA Lucy Davison has been named the Young Rail Professional Apprentice of the Year. She was also named The Royal Navy Higher or Degree Apprentice of the Year 2023 for Yorkshire & Humber in the National Apprenticeship Awards.

Davison joined SYSTRA’s apprenticeship programme in 2014 as an Assistant Track Technician. Since then she has achieved a BEng degree in Civil Engineering with First Class Honours from Teesside University and plans to further her studies through achieving an MSc in Railway Systems Engineering and Integration at the University of Birmingham. She will also be joining SYSTRA’s ‘Leadership and Management’ programme to develop her skills in railway management, helping her to achieve the next stage in her career journey.
