Karla Jakeman is starting an additional position as Employee Director at Transport Research Foundation (the owners of TRL). “This is quite a rare role in the UK meaning that employees are represented at Board level and all credit to TRL for this forward thinking approach,” said Jakeman.
She is Head of Automated Transport at TRL, and previously spent eight years at Innovate UK as Connected Transport Innovation Lead.
