Plans to build a car park and new sports facilities a school in York have been withdrawn.
St Peter's School, which was founded in 627 AD, had applied for permission to build a 78-space car park, eight floodlit hockey pitches and six tennis courts.
The independent school's plans, which had included a new access road off Westminster Road, had been due to be discussed by City of York Council's planning committee on 7 March. However, planning officers recommended refusal.
