Long distance limit for young bus and coach drivers to end

Bus and coach drivers aged 18 to 20 will no longer be stopped from driving routes of no more than 50km, under changes proposed by the Government. This would give young bus and coach drivers parity with 18 to 20-year-olds driving articulated lorries, who can already drive with no distance limit, as well as tackling the current shortage of bus and coach drivers in the UK, says the Government.
