Free public transport paid for by increased tax on air travel and car ownership is among the ideas in a manifesto from the ‘Ministry of Imagination’, an envioronmentalist- led project. It wants to see all national and local transport policies viewed from a child’s perspective, and making sure every transport journey is charged to reflect its environmental impact.
