Exeter introduces a pair of parklets

A pair of parklets have been introduced in Exeter to offer the public a pleasant space to sit and socialise in the city.

The parklet project aims to elevate the quality of the city’s streetscape and encourage community and business engagement. The city council says the parklets will contribute to creating vibrant, planted, seating areas and provide space for people to enjoy and foster community engagement. It is hoped that the repurposed parking spaces will enrich the public space...
