DfT’s Ramsden moves from road to rail

The DfT's Helen Ramsden is to lead the Government’s approach to funding and sponsorship of HS2. This marks her return to rail after more than two years in the department’s Lower Thames Crossing and Smart Motorways division. Over the past 17 years Ramsden has held a range of senior management positions including Programme Controls Director at Crossrail; the DfT’s Head of Policy and Delivery: National Cycling and Walking Programme; Senior Responsible Owner: Active Travel at Transport for Greater Manchester; and Senior Transport manager at Essex County.
