Lyons gets set to take over as CIHT President

Glenn Lyons is to be next President of Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, taking over from Karen McShane at end of her presidential year in June.

Lyons is the Mott MacDonald Professor of Future Mobility at UWE Bristol. 

He has been a Member of CIHT since 2001 and became a Fellow in 2017. He has previously served as a CIHT Council member and also on the Board of Trustees. 

“Throughout my career I have had CIHT by my side and been involved in various initiatives, the most memorable of which was CIHT FUTURES,” said Lyons.
