Bus lane fines make nearly £80m for councils, says AA

Bus lane fines are generating a surplus of nearly £80m for English councils, according to analysis of DfT statistics by the AA.

The figures for 2022-23 show an income of £127.25m, generated from fines, versus £47.674m in costs, said the AA.
