Bus operators in eight towns and cities are now piloting acceptance of a QR code authenticated e-ticket version of the Plus Bus rail ticket add-on facility that allows unlimited one-day bus travel at a discount for rail travellers within a defined local area.
Previously available only in paper format, the move is aimed at making local bus travel easier and cheaper for visitors to Cambridge, Bradford, Dewsbury, Halifax, Huddersfield, Keighley, Leeds, and Wakefield.
