Labour urged scrap Stonehenge scheme as appeal hearing starts

A campaign group is at the Court of Appeal this week seeking to overturn the previous Conservative Government’s approval of National Highways’ plans for a two-mile tunnel beneath Stonehenge.

But Save Stonehenge World Heritage Site (SSWHS) is calling on the new Labour Government to scrap the scheme anyway.
