Scam QR codes appear in Cheltenham car parks

Motorists in Cheltenham have been urged to be vigilant after scam QR codes appeared at car parks across Cheltenham.

Cheltenham Borough Council reports that people have been tricked into paying via their phone to fraudulent accounts.

Council officers have since been patrolling car parks to remove the fake codes from parking machines.
