National Highways finds £40bn extra LTC freight benefits to boost BCR

National Highways have issued a new report arguing the case for building the Lower Thames Crossing which includes a new economic calculation for there being £40bn of previously unlisted benefits to the freight sector from the proposed £10bn scheme, plus the claim that congestion on the nearby M25 Dartford crossing costs £200m a year. The report “Road to Growth”,was produced with Logistics UK.
