EVs are to be subject to the full London congestion charge from next year as Mayor Sadiq Khan and Transport for London (TfL) seek to keep the impact of the measure in tackling congestion as an increasing number of vehicles switch to electric power.
The move highlights the challenge of dealing with both emissions and carbon impacts of car use whilst maintaining measures to address the wider impacts of traffic.
