The DfT is looking at the measures taken by cities around the world to reduce road danger, the Transport Committee was told. Transport Secretary Louise Haigh said that, along with Minister for future of roads Lillian Greenwood, she had “started the process to put in place the first road safety strategy in this country for over a decade”.
