Transport authorities told their shares of DfT £712m bus support pot for 2025/06

Allocations of the £712m recently promised to help local transport authorities support and improve bus services in 2025-2026 have been announced by the Department for Transport , in the form of Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) capital and revenue funding. This is now paid on a formula basis, rather than under competitive bidding, with much looser conditions on how it may be used than the original.
