National Trust launches Trelissick parking extension appeal

The National Trust has appealed against a decision to refuse planning application for it to expand a car park at the Trelissick estate in Cornwall.

The trust said Trelissick estate at Feock, near Truro, needs more parking to meet growing visitor demand.  It said the expanded car park would help prevent queuing cars, which cause traffic to back up on the B3289 at peak times during the summer.
