Construction of the Winchester Superhub has passed a major milestone with the arrival of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) units and the installation of 870 solar panel modules.
The site’s operator, InstaVolt, has made a commitment to delivering reliable, ultra-rapid, and 100% renewable electric vehicle charging.
The on-site solar panels can generate up to 500kW of renewable energy, while the two BESS units provide a total storage capacity of 960kW/4MWh.
