Transport spending to rise by £8.2m in Greater Manchester

Greater Manchester has approved an £8.2m (4%) increase in transport funding for 2025/26. The Transport Levy has been set at £125.7m and the Statutory Charge at £86.7m for each local authority in the region, which equals total funding for 2025/26 of £212.4m.

The figures appear in the transport-related Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) budget for 2025/26.
